Dear colleagues,
The 11th International Conference on Nuclear Physics at Storage Rings, STORI'24, will be held on Nov. 18 - 22, 2024, in Huizhou, China. The STORI’24 is organized by Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMP-CAS). The conference venue is located at the Huizhou Campus of IMP-CAS in Guangdong Province.
The first STORI conference took place in 1991 in Lund. Since then, the meetings of this series have been organized every 4 years, in St. Petersbug (1994), Bernkastel-Kues (1996), Bloomington (1999), Uppsala (2002), Jülich (2005), Lanzhou (2008), Frascati (2011), Sankt Goar (2014) and Kanazawa (2017). The conference aims to provide a forum for presenting and discussing all aspects of physics with stored ion beams and possible extensions to adjacent fields. The conference scope comprises the following main topics:
· Nuclear structure and astrophysics
· Elementary atomic processes
· Hadron spectroscopy and sub-nucleonic degrees of freedom
· Antiproton-nucleus interactions
· Stored ion beams
· Fundamental symmetries and interactions
· Beam-cooling, manipulation, and diagnostics
· Ion traps and electrostatic rings
· Future facilities
More details about the conference can be found at https://indico.impcas.ac.cn/e/stori24
Registration is open and will be possible until Oct. 21, 2024. Early registration ends at 23:59 UTC+8, Aug. 30, 2024. Please register at:

Please view: https://indico.impcas.ac.cn/event/62/page/117-transportation
We will arrange volunteers during the daytime at Guangzhou Airport and Shenzhen Airport to assist you in getting to the conference venue. More details will be announced in the second circular.
4. Call for Abstracts
The call for abstracts is open. Abstracts can be submitted until Oct. 30, 2024. Please note that the abstracts submitted after Aug 30, 2024, will only be accepted as poster presentations. The abstract submit link can be found at https://indico.impcas.ac.cn/event/62/abstracts/
5. Conference proceedings
The proceedings of the STORI'24 conference will be published in the Journal of Chinese Physics C (https://indico.impcas.ac.cn/event/62/page/125-conference-proceedings)
6. Excursion
This conference arranges an excursion to the High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF) which is under construction now. The facility site is located 100 km away from the conference venue. HIAF is an internationally advanced facility with two storage rings, namely the Booster Ring (Bring) and the Spectrometer Ring (SRing).
