The 11th International Conference on Nuclear Physics at Storage Rings (STORI’24)
will take place in Huizhou, Guangdong, China, from November 18 to November 22, 2024. The conference venue is located in the Huizhou campus of the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. https://english.imp.cas.cn The campus is about 100 km away from the Huizhou campus to the new High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF).

This conference will be hosted by the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, following the long tradition of previous conferences held at Kanazawa, Sankt Goar, Lund, St. Petersburg, Bernkastel-Kues, Bloomington, Uppsala, Jülich, Lanzhou, and Frascati. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this conference has regretfully been postponed for 4 years after STORI’17.
We cordially invite you to discuss all aspects of nuclear physics at storage rings and related fields in the recent past and future. Besides the senior colleagues, we encourage in particular young scientists to participate.
The research at storage rings was rich of significant achievements in the recent past as well as it has large discovery potential in the future. In this spirit, the conference will cover the following topics:
- Nuclear structure and astrophysics
- Elementary atomic processes
- Hadron spectroscopy and sub-nucleonic degrees of freedom
- Antiproton-nucleus interactions
- Stored ion beams
- Fundamental symmetries and interactions
- Beam-cooling, manipulation, and diagnostics
- Ion traps and electrostatic rings
- Future facilities
The scientific program will include invited talks, contributed talks, and a poster session. We also plan an excursion to the HIAF facility.
