The 13th International Conference on Direct Reactions with Exotic Beams (DREB2026) will be held at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, China.
Below is the transportation guide to help you plan your journey to the conference venue and recommended hotels.
1. By Air
Option A: Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX)
Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is the most convenient option, located approximately [Insert Distance, e.g., 30 km] from the SUSTech campus.
By Taxi: Taking a taxi from the airport to the campus/hotel takes about 40-50 minutes] and costs approximately 100-150 RMB.
By Metro: You can take Metro Line 11 from the airport, transfer to Line 5 at Qianhaiwan Station, and get off at Tanglang Station. The journey takes about 60 minutes.
Option B: Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
International attendees may also choose to fly into Hong Kong International Airport.
By Ferry: You can take a direct ferry from the HKG Skypier to Shenzhen (Shekou Port or Fuyong Port) without passing through Hong Kong immigration. From the Shenzhen port, you can take a taxi or metro to the venue.
By Cross-border Bus/Train: Cross-border buses and high-speed trains (via West Kowloon Station) are also available. Please ensure you hold a valid Chinese entry visa (or visa-free) before crossing the border.
2. By Train (High-Speed Railway)
If you are traveling from other cities within China or from Hong Kong (West Kowloon), Shenzhen North Railway Station (深圳北站) is the closest and most convenient high-speed rail hub to the venue.
By Taxi: A taxi from Shenzhen North Station to SUSTech takes only about 15 minutes and costs around 30 RMB.
By Metro: Take Metro Line 5 directly from Shenzhen North Station to Tanglang Station. It is a short trip of only 2 stops.
3. Local Public Transportation
Metro: The SUSTech campus and the main conference hotels are conveniently located near Tanglang Station (塘朗站) on Metro Line 5.
From Tanglang Station, it is a short walk or a quick ride to the campus gates.
Taxis & Ride-Hailing: Taxis are plentiful in Shenzhen. You can also use ride-hailing apps like DiDi (available in English) via Alipay or WeChat.
