About the City of Shenzhen Located in southern China, Shenzhen is a modern, thriving metropolis known as a leading global technology hub and a special economic zone. Sometimes referred to as "China's Silicon Valley," the city has experienced rapid growth and is recognized for its innovative spirit, modern architecture, and numerous parks and green spaces. Attendees will find a city with a well-developed transportation system and a wide range of cultural attractions, shopping, and dining options.
Attendees can reach to Shenzhen via the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX), Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) or Shenzhen North Railway Station. Shuttle buses from these airports/stations will be provided to the conference site by the organizors.
The city is also close to the site of the Heavy Ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) in Huizhou, which will be under operation from the beginning of 2026. We will offer tour options to the HIAF site as well as other places of interest in Shenzhen city.
