Several large-scale facilities for nuclear and particle researches including the High Intensity Heavy Ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) in China are under construction. In order to stimulate interests and enrich the physics programs, iHIC2020 will concentrate on the advances and future perspectives in experimental and theoretical studies of the nuclear Equation of State, QCD phase structure, nuclear force and exotics in nuclei. Meanwhile, the program will cover the current state of research and the anticipated development trends in various centers and facilities in the world. The symposium will provide a convenient venue and time for discussions on burning experimental and theoretical problems and of the future directions as well as to form collaborations and to advance inter-related research fields.

To encourage student participants in the workshop and discussion we plan to have a day as Student Day prior to the main program: Saturday, August 22th. 3~4 lectures and discussions on related research topics will be scheduled. The primary goal of the Student Day is to provide basic and systematic information on the related research topics, for students as well as senior researchers.

Registration at Lanzhou will begin on August 22th, one day before the conference.

The 1st Intermediate-energy Heavy Ion Collisions(iHIC2018) conference was hosted at THU, Beijing, see more details from: http://info.phys.tsinghua.edu.cn/enpg/ihic2018/index.html
