Wireless Network Access Instructions for CAS-MPG Summer School 2025
1. Wireless Networks
Two dedicated Wi-Fi networks are available throughout the conference venue
(International Center for Academic Exchange and dining hall):
1) Primary Network: Named " 近代物理研究所impcas", it requires authentication with a personal account and password.
2) Temporary Network: Named "近代物理所惠州研究部", this open
network provides basic internet access with limited bandwidth and session
duration. It's designed for devices unable to access the authentication portal.
2. User Account and Authentication
1) Personal accounts are pre-generated based on the list of conference attendees. The account the wireless access is the same as the email username, excluding the @ and subsequent parts. For example, someone's email address is james.smith@gmail.com, then his wireless username is james.smith. The default password is uniformly set to "summerschool2025".
2) Access via "eduroam" authentication is supported.
3) Unregistered users may access the campus guest network "近代物理研究所 guest" by logging in with a mobile number and SMS verification code.
