DESCRIPTION:The sixth “NUclear physics School for Young Scientists (NUSY
 S2026)” will be held at Beijing\, China from August 9 to August 16\, 20
 26（Registration on the 9th\, departure on the 16th） hosted by Beihang
  University. Participants are expected to arrive and check in on August 9.
  The goal of this school is to motivate the PhD students and postdoctoral/
 young researchers by introducing them to the various facets of the nuclear
  physics and its applications to the nuclear science and technology\, as w
 ell as the future prospects of the forthcoming nuclear facilities in Asia.
 \n  Experts worldwide are invited to convey a view of the rich variety of
  present on-going activities in the field of experimental and theoretical 
 nuclear physics and to exploit the opportunities created by the on-going o
 r the next-generation nuclear physics facilities particularly in Asia\, su
 ch as HIAF (High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility)\, JUNA (Jinping
  Underground Nuclear Astrophysics)\, SLEGS (Shanghai Laser Electron Gamma 
 Source) and BISOL (Beijing Isotope-Separation On-Line neutron-rich beam fa
 cility) which are either operational or planned in China\, RAON (Rare isot
 ope Accelerator complex for ON-line experiment) in South Korea and RIBF (R
 adioactive Isotope Beam Factory) in Japan. Each student is required to con
 tribute by presenting a poster related to her/his work. The organizing co
 mmittee together with invited lecturers will select the six best posters f
 or the oral presentation session at the school\, and three students will b
 e awarded with “ANPhA  Award for Young Scientists” and three for “
 NUSYS Award for Young Scientists”.\n \nRegistration \nThe application i
 s now open and will be closed on June 9\, 2026. The application form (to b
 e completed by the student) can be found at the school website(https://ind
 ico.impcas.ac.cn/e/nusys). An abstract for the poster and a statement incl
 uding self-introduction\, motivation\, and the expectation from attending 
 NUSYS2026 are required\, which can be filled online. A recommendation lett
 er needs to be sent directly to the school email address: ircbbc@buaa.edu
 .cn to support the application. The total number of participants for PhD s
 tudents and postdoctoral/young researchers will be limited to 50. Particip
 ants will be selected by the organization committee. Our target participan
 ts are mainly PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers. A confirmat
 ion letter will be sent to each selected participant via email. \nThe reg
 istration fee is 1\,500 RMB (cash only)\, which covers lunch coupons and c
 offee breaks. Partial financial support (waive registration fees) may be
  available for students who require assistance to attend the conference.
