Description
The possibility that the origin of neutrino mass is tied to lepton number violation (LNV) makes experimental searches for LNV a forefront quest in high energy and nuclear physics. The possibility that LNV arises at one or more energy scales from the eV to conventional seesaw scale implies a multiplicity of possible observational signatures across several frontiers. In this talk, I survey some of the possible connections between LNV physics associated with neutrino masses, searches for neutrinoless double beta decay, collider probes, and cosmological/astrophysical phenomena.
